I won't ask you to be yourself...

It's a similar concept [to my song “The Patient”] in that the the singer is being kind of whispered to by this demon. It's like if you want all of these things, if you want fame, if you want fortune, if you want to realize your dreams… I can give that to you and I won't judge you.

"Even though the song feels like you could hear it at a roller disco in the 80s... if you listen to the lyrics and the way the vocal is delivered, I think it's very sinister."

"It's very much about that dark side of… What might you be willing to become… to have these things that you want so badly? There's there's an aspect of dancing with that danger, I suppose."

"I think every human being has gone through that process of... what you would trade for this thing you really want? It could be fame. It could be celebrity. It could be... I just want to own a business. I think every human being is asked that question, and I think sometimes they're terrified of the answer."

"A masterpiece of a record!" - We Write About Music

RELEASED NOVEMBER 5, 2021

"It's primarily about that feeling you get when you wake up one morning and realize... shit. I'm older. I don't have this dreamed-up future in front of me where the sky's the limit. I have responsibilities. I have a family. I have a job and a mortgage. All of these adult things that suddenly make the dream feel far off. Unattainable, even."
