Nobody Knows Your Name...
A mash-up of early 80s MTV and mid-90s techno twist with a modern day sound!
There's this very real sense of suddenly being lost. Maybe you have an identity crisis. Maybe you feel the walls closing in on you a bit. You had promise. Now the daylight of responsibility is hitting you, and all you want to do is get back to that land of dreams. Whether to escape or to try again to make them real. But you've got to get through the day first, and if the brutal shock of the morning is any indication, it doesn't look promising. But the morning is full of promises it can't keep...

From the first demos to the final release, The Art of Tactful Procrastination was seven years in the making.
It's about the struggle to realize your dreams and successfully pursue your passions, particularly as you get older and come into more adult responsibilities and obligations. What is your legacy? Who are you if you don't have one? Who do these things matter to? Who do you become if you don't chase these dreams? Who do you become if you do?

After some bad experiences in the music business I had by 2014 pretty much started to give up on making music. Then, after my first child was born in Nashville - where I had moved 8 years prior to pursue this dream - I realized I was still here for a reason and knew exactly what kind of music I wanted to make.
As a new parent struggling with various phases of employment in the entertainment industry, what followed was a long adventure of odd experiences and learned lessons that ultimately made the long-gestating album a tighter, more cohesive piece of work thematically.

During the course of making this album I worked many jobs and had plenty of strange experiences. On any given day I might be bumping elbows with Jack White (while working on a music video for The Dead Weather) and then selling spa parts at a local hot tub store. Or putting together digital marketing campaigns for medical device companies one minute, then finding myself in a near-death situation with Tiny Lister (Friday) the next.
From acting, to directing and producing a television pilot, to editing a feature documentary on bourbon, to driving Uber all night long for weeks at a time... the experiences I had while making this album are probably more interesting than the album itself. I think that near-frantic cluster of disparate experiences can definitely be felt on the album.

Ender Bowen is a rarity in today’s world of bland radio-friendly popular music... strong melodies, harmony, great song structure, and lyrics that actually tell stories with meaning.
Bowen delivers passionate, emotional vocals that will send chills up your spine... Everything he sings is sincere and real.
[Bowen] blends soaring big sounds with experimental and somewhat electronic tones to create something very fresh for today’s music scene... this is thinking man's music.
"...This is a really great album! The songs mesh together so well while still being able to stand alone!"
"I'm in love...melodies [that] never get boring... sprinkles of throwback of the eighties rock/pop/new wave!"
"A unique, fresh and impeccably-executed audio experience... leaves me in a feel good mood every time!"
